Welcome to the new Elkhart County Surveyor’s Office website. Your County Surveyor is a constitutional officer of the county and is elected to a 4-yr term from the county at large. The primary duties of the County Surveyor include maintaining the legal survey book, section corner perpetuation, serve as a member of the County Drainage Board, work with the county plan commission, and work with Alcohol Board Commission when it pertains to alcohol beverage permits.
