Elkhart County Surveyor's Office

Welcome to the new Elkhart County Surveyor’s Office website. Your County Surveyor is a constitutional officer of the county and is elected to a 4-yr term from the county at large. The primary duties of the County Surveyor include maintaining the legal survey book, section corner perpetuation, serve as a member of the County Drainage Board, work with the county plan commission, and work with Alcohol Board Commission when it pertains to alcohol beverage permits. All of the office's duties are in accordance with the Indiana Code. We encourage you to browse and learn more about the surveyor's office
